Pediatric Dentistry

Proper dental oral hygiene is an integral part of a child’s overall health. How they care for their teeth and gums can determine how their teeth develop into adolescence. At Anaheim Hills Pediatric Dentistry, our team have years of experience in treating pediatric patients of all ages. We believe in cultivating good habits in children, starting young so that hopefully, they will continue into adulthood.

Why pediatric dentistry?

Pediatric dentistry is dental care for children. According to the ADA (American Dental Association), children should have their first visit by the time they are 1 year old, or when their first tooth erupts. Even though children lose their baby teeth, proper dental care is especially important. No matter what age, we want to try our best to prevent cavities.

Our goal is to make sure our patients are set on the right path and are given proper guidance on healthy diets as well as healthy oral hygiene in order to prevent dental disease. We want everyone who enters our office, to feel comfortable and at ease.

Need for children's dentistry

Dental decay is the most common disease within children in America. The good news is, most decay that occurs in children is preventable when healthy habits are put in to place. Our main focus in pediatric dentistry, is to instill these good habits and create positive attitudes when it comes to dental treatment and to carry them into the future.

Dental anxiety is not uncommon. Even adults still get anxious when it comes to their dental appointments. We make sure no matter what the child’s individual needs are, we will work with you step-by-step to accommodate them all. Feel free to give our office a visit prior to your child’s first appointment to familiarize them with the office. We would be delighted to meet you!
